“Sorry, Strivers - Talent Matters” A very interesting read, especially for anyone who loves Outliers as much as I do! It’s good to be able to shed more light on the talent debate, although I do think this author is straying slightly from Gladwell’s main argument. If I remember correctly, the main point is that with lots of practice, people can become extremely talented at something, regardless of their IQ or “initial talent”. I can see the author’s point about certain inborn facets like working memory being helpful in determining success, but that’s obviously not the whole story. Anyway, very fascinating debate.
